Why Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplements?
If you are Medicare eligible, then you probably already know that Medicare doesn’t cover all of your healthcare costs. With Original Medicare, many individuals over 65 end up spending hundreds, or even thousands of dollars out of their own pocket for their healthcare and prescription drug costs. The right Medicare Advantage or Supplement plan can help cover these out-of-pocket expenses. But let’s face it, while there is a right plan out there that fits your particular needs and circumstances, finding it can be a complex process because of the countless options available. Let Doyle Rowe LTD help you find the right plan, at the right cost for your individual healthcare needs.
Medicare Advantage Plans
Medicare Advantage Plans are “IN PLACE OF” your original Medicare. They are stlll regulated by the federal government but contracted out to various private carriers for administration purposes. Medicare Advantage plans have no or low premiums and provide the same types of benefits that Medicare provides, in addition to extra benefits. Types of Medicare Advantage Plans include Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organization (PPOs), and Private Fee-for- Service Plan (PFFS).

Medicare Supplement Plans
Medicare Supplement Insurance policies complement your original Medicare plan and will pay some, if not all, of the expenses that Part A and B do not cover. These expenses could be co-pays, coinsurance, deductibles and other excess charges. There are many different types of Supplement policies available today and they are offered by many different carriers.
